My grandma... I always associate my grandmother with singing. All throughout my childhood she was never quiet. She was usually either talking a mile a minute or singing. I don’t remember much about my grandma, how’s she looks like, or what about her. But I know who she is and what she did on me.
I know when I was a kid my grandma come to stay with us because my mother was very close to giving to my younger sister. I always associate my grandmother with singing. All throughout my childhood she was never quiet. She was usually either talking a mile a minute or singing. My mom has told me many times that I loved to sing along with my grandmother and would follow her everywhere, hanging on to every word she spoke. This must have been why I decided to confuse the voice between my grandmother and my mother, and couldn’t forget that wonderful voice. I remember from previous experiences that whenever my grandmother had to return home after a visit, my mother would sing the same songs as my grandmother in attempt not to miss her so much. This image with the one I have of my grandmother in the same place except this time it is my mom. My grandma was always singing when she cleans the kitchen with her strong gentle voice. While I believe that the scene I described at above was the first time that I ever mistook my mother’s voice for my grandmother’s, it was certainly not the last.
I have never told anyone about the many times that I dream about her, I can see her sometime on my dream with beautiful hair and perfect smile looking me. Cập nhật: 29/05/2008
